the low-down on up-dog

refining your alignment in upward facing dog pose will allow you to lift up, shine forward, and eliminate lower back, wrist, or shoulder pain.
practicing this can take some endurance – as you can hear i’m short of breath at the end! – so remember to breathe, and move with your breath.

assisting workshop ~ april 12 @ manipura power yoga

join Aaron Warren & me for another assisting workshop, to learn concrete skills for safe, effective hands-on assisting, and experience principles of alignment that will allow you to fully understand any pose.

we will review what was taught in march’s assist workshop, plus additional new poses and assists. attending last month’s workshop is not a prerequisite for attending this one – All are welcome!

Students of all levels: As a student, you will gain a new perspective on your personal practice and a deeper understanding of energetic flow.

Yoga teachers: As a teacher, you will gain confidence and tools in delivering assists that are direct, clear and powerful; showing up in your students both on and off their mat!
